20 Stewart was designed by Core Architects and Developed by FREED and LASH developments. Finished in 2007, this building is truly minimalistic in every respect. There aren’t any building amenities (other than a security system) and the interior finishes include stone counters, pre-engineered wood floors, stainless steel appliances and “spa-like” washroom features (which typically includes a deep soaker tub and rain shower head).
What makes this building unique is the location, quietly nestled on Stewart street, and the 59 suites in the building. One other feature that we definitely appreciate are the 10 foot ceilings. This feature is becoming more of a rarity as developers recognize that 9 foot ceilings are very appealing and it allows them to add another floor of profit into their building pro-forma.
Most recently, prices have been ranging between $540 – $625 per square foot in the last 100 days (average at $584 psf). If you want an intimate building with minimal amenities, this is a great option to consider in a bourgeoning neighbourhood.
