Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in King West

Irish or not, St. Patrick’s day is a fun excuse to spend a night having drinks with friends. There are tons of different bars having parties around the city on St. Patrick’s Day (and over the weekend) so all you have to do is pick one (or 3), grab some friends and enjoy the festivities!

To help you choose, we’ve put together a list of 5 spots in King West where you can celebrate St. Patrick’s day.

Brassaii – 461 King Street West

If you want to party hard, head to Brassaii on the 12th. This King West restaurant is hosting the annual Carlsberg St. Party’s Day bash complete with live music and plenty of beer.

Mascot Brewery – 31 Mercer Street

Mascot Brewery is hosting a party called The Saint, which promises to be Toronto’s largest neighbourhood St. Patrick’s celebration. This event features tented open-air rooftop pub, Beer Casks, and a carefully crafted cocktail list. Not only that, but they’re doing an entire weekend of programming including live music, craft beer sampling, and a booze-filled brunch.

Belfast Love – 548 King Street West

Another King West hot spot this St. Patrick’s day is Belfast Love. The main bar inside devotes itself to beer and cocktails and the selection on draught is dominated by Ontario craft brands. Skip the green beer this year and hit up their whisky bar. It showcases a collection of bottles hovering in the triple digits with more always trickling in.

The Everleigh – 580 King Street West

The Everleigh will be having a special St. Patrick’s Day edition of their Vintage Fridays on Friday, March 17th. The Everleigh is truly something fresh fusing old and new world concepts across two rooms to create a mature yet fun social experience while still offering next-generation club-goers a solid place to dance this St. Patrick’s Day.

The Citizen – 522 King Street West

Get ready to be a part of the biggest day/night party on King St on this beautiful holiday. The Citizen will be creating an incredible atmosphere inside with live music, flip cup & beer pong tables, and a special menu. They’ll be partying all day to help you forget about calling in sick to work the next day 🙂

Are any of these places on your list of places to hit this St. Patrick’s Day? If not, let us know where you’ll be celebrating in the comments!
